Hampstead, NW3. The complete refurbishment of a large townhouse within a Hampstead conservation area.
An internal wall was removed at the lower ground floor level, to create more ‘flow’ in the central living space. The property had most of its original features removed during the 70’s and 80’s, so the new owner asked us to re-install wood paneling throughout the property. In addition new sash windows were installed as necessary to replace casement windows that were out of keeping and sashes that were rotten.
This project had to be done sensitively to re-introduce the original character of the interior that was missing.
